TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

A new frame that’s suitable for roads and trails.

Our engineers designed a sturdy new steel frame. Easy to mount, with a design similar to the adult Riverside bike.

Single speed

This single-speed bike is simple and effective on flat terrain.

Ergonomic saddle

A saddle specially designed for kids.

Why did we design a brake lever especially for kids?

Kids find it hard to reach the brake levers because their hands are smaller. That’s why the
brake levers are closer to the handlebars. Their little hands can now reach the brakes!

V-brake pads: Controlled braking

Two V-brake pads for effective braking.
The brakes’ callipers exert pressure on the rim to slow down or stop the wheels from rotating.

Riding in comfort

The semi-raised handlebars allow kids to ride in comfort.
The handlebars and stem are welded in a single piece to make it easier to adjust the cockpit.

Includes protective guards and an anti-derailment system.

The guard protects the chain and chainring so kids don’t get dirty. The internal collar prevents the chain from derailing.

Wheel/tire information

Hybrid tire suitable for roads and trails.
20 x 1.7/2.2 inner tube with Schrader valve.

Additional components

Fully equipped for riding on public roads: battery-powered lights, a bell, and wheel reflectors.

For smarter shipping, our bikes come with their pedals removed and the handlebars unscrewed (instructions and tools are supplied)

Comfort and safety

Your bike's components (chain, derailleur, brakes, etc.) will need adjustments over time. Take advantage of free adjustments for one year after purchase. Our technicians will carry out a 13-point check of your bike. Just come to your nearest Decathlon workshop with your Decathlon membership card and/or receipt.
