TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Breathability

To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (based on ISO 11092 standard).
The lower its resistance, the more the fabric allows body moisture to escape, increasing its breathability.

Care instructions

Machine wash at 30°C. Synthetic cycle. Turn the garment inside out. Do not add fabric softener. Hang dry in a warm, ventilated area. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean. Do not add bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.

Product tests

Our Btwin product design team is continuously working to make cycling more comfortable for our users. We strive to create products that meet the specific cycling needs of our users, eliminating unnecessary features.
We then test our products in the field, as we are convinced that the only way to continuously improve our products is to subject them to real world conditions like the ones you experience on your bike.

A rating to compare products' environmental impact

A product’s environmental impact is calculated based on its entire life cycle using various indicators. An ABCDE rating shows the environmental impact of a product. Put forward by ADEME, it takes into account production, transportation, usage, and waste generated at the end of a product’s life. Decathlon displays this information voluntarily to help you identify products with lower environmental impact. For more information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/

La taille ne correspond pas
Guillaume (Canada)

Not good quality
William (United Kingdom) Used for More than 1 year
Quite comfortable and nice pad but the stitching around the pad has come away after less than 800km use and within approximately a year.

Had my DHB shorts for 3 years and were far superior for £40 and will be buying them again

FUSTRATING
Decent for the price
JP (United Kingdom) Used for
Nice padding and a comfortable fit, ideal for shorter (under 40 mile) rides. Great for the money.
Beware mesh straps on colder days! Cooler temps and the mesh straps lining up perfectly with my nipples could have ended badly, had I not been far from home!

Great product at a great price
Poor quality

First time I pulled them on, the stitching to the pad ripped. Poor quality. I'll stick with Giordana, Lusso, Sportful etc
Response of the brand

Hello. Thank you for your review. Please do exchange these shorts for a new pair either in your local store or via our customer loyalty team. There should be no movement of the stitching and I am very surprised to hear that this happened on first wear. Please accept my apologies and I am sure another pair will show that it's a one off.

MICHAEL, Road Cycling Leader, DECATHLON UK

Not going to be buying again.
Bull (United States)
First off, the price on these is obviously really nice. I also read (maybe at Bicycling.com?) that these were legit decent bib shorts. But they have major issues. First, the chamois is huge wide. Like the padded part itself is ok, but then there's these extensions, maybe wings? I ordered an XXL because I'm huge, but these are easily an extra half-inch wider in the chamois than other brands that I have worn. Needless to say, not a good place to have extra fabric. It folds over into your thighs and would probably give some serious chafing. I only wore it for an hour or so on a trainer. Second, the back panel (over your crack) is absolutely sheer. I don't really want to flash folks riding behind me. I know, road jerseys are supposed to be long in the drop back there, but I'm tall and they tend to ride up. I compared this to some other bibs I had lying around and there is a difference. So, definite fit issues + fabric concerns = nope. Not happy.
