I bought it one size smaller and which makes it a race fit on me. Great wind protection, packs up small, and is less than half the cost of other cycling brands. I just bought it because of the price to check it out but it's become a go to piece of kit for me.

Compared to other brands that are waaaaay more expensive, and seemingly use the same materials and probably construction, this is hard to beat.

I've had this gilet for a while now and it's done everything from my commute to holidays abroad and I can't rate it highly enough. As the title suggests, the only thing this gilet is missing is a two-way zipper, I’m just being picky really, but that would make this perfect.
It's performed in a huge range of weather conditions, with layers underneath in the freezing cold to slipping over a summer jersey before long descents, it really is a near 4 season go to. Hands down, it beats all other more expensive fancy brand alternatives and I’ve recommended it to everyone who’s asked me for suggestions. It packs up perfectly to slide in your back pocket, is easy to unfold and put on when moving and offers great protection from the wind, and even rain. The stretchy back helps to offer a great fit, helps with breathability and the access flap makes it easy to get to your jersey pockets if you need to. It’s so good, I’ve got the long sleeve windproof version and the Van Rysel Rain Ultralight Jacket too – both of which are equally as good. (Pleeeeease fit them with a two-way zip!) Decathlon continues to make fantastic products that are excellent value in a sport that’s becoming increasingly more and more expensive, thank you! Need a gilet (BTW - every cyclist should have one)? Buy this. It’s great!
