Good gripper but little costly
I bought to replace the grips on my son's bike. Once neatly on the handlebars, I am sure they would be superb as they are sturdy with a good grip. But, not being Superman, I don't have the strength to get the grip all the way onto the handlebar. It, well, grips too strongly. I wonder if there is some technique to it, but the grips are too thick to roll on, so I'm left just trying to push it on, moving it sideways. After 20 furious and sweat-soaked minutes I finally got one grip on enough to feel it will stay. I'll probably have to cut off the end of the grip which sticks out 6-7cm.
My sons finger got scratches due to sharp profile of grip.
Thank you for taking time out to review our product, this helps us continuously improve. I apologize for the unpleasant experience your son has faced due to the grip. It was never our intention.
For the grip having a sharp edges, I suggest you to please visit the nearest Decathlon store where our sport leaders could analyse the issue with this grip and could offer you an exchange.
I stay available incase you need any further assistance from my end.
Good grips but found hard to squeeze on.
It was a bit tighter for my cycle, had a little tough time fitting this manually. But the quality is great. I am very happy to have this on my cycle.
replaced this for my bike
Pros: Comfortable, good even when wet, I've had them on a trail bike for a year and they are still as good as new
Cons: hard to get on the handlebars, rotates slightly under heavy wrist torque
Summary: good, comfortable grips for sweaty hands shredding Enduro in the jungle. If they had end-tighteners it would be absolutely perfect. The rubber compound is legit, and I can recommend this product.. just don't try to take them off/put them on again very often. :)
Great quality & extremely grippy!
