How to choose your helmet size

To find your helmet size, simply measure the circumference of your head (around the forehead). This mountain bike helmet comes in three sizes:
S: 52–55 cm
M: 55–59 cm
L: 59–62 cm

EN 1078 certified

European standard setting out the requirements and test methods for helmets to be worn by users of rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, and bicycles. The corresponding requirements and test methods cover the following aspects: construction, including field of vision; shock absorption properties; characteristics of the retention system, including the chinstrap and tightening devices; marking and information.

Cushioning foam

A cushioning foam replacement kit is available for this helmet on our website.

Please note that on some helmets, the colour of the EVA cushioning foam (in contact with the top of the head) may vary.

When should I replace my helmet?

We recommend replacing your helmet in these two situations:

1. After a fall:
In the event of a fall, the material of your helmet can deteriorate or even break. Sometimes the damage isn’t visible. That’s why it should be replaced after a fall.

2. After five years of use:
The foam deteriorates. It can deteriorate because of an impact, where it’s stored, the climate, and use. We therefore recommend replacing your helmet at least every five years.

How do you adjust the helmet?

Three easy steps for adjusting your helmet in two minutes:
1. If necessary, pull your ponytail through the back of the helmet (lower the dial’s rim).

2. Clip the straps together with the buckle and adjust: make sure you can slide two fingers between the strap and your chin.

3. Adjust the tightness around your head using the rear dial.

The helmet should be in contact with your head without tipping forward, backward, or sideways, even when you’re moving.

I went to Decathlon to purchase the black coloured model but when I saw this right next to it, there was no other choice to be made. It adjusts easily, is light-weight and nice and bright for cycling. The "camo" look is very subtle, yet quite nice. And the fact I can strap a light on the back into the pre-attached holder is great (just check you get the correct light).

Great quality. Great price.
They need to have these rated at Canadian standards though. Lots of bike clubs / programs for kids will not accept these. Be aware.
However, hard to beat the price /performance ratio and they are very safe

Built to a price-point, this resembles all the generic helmets you find online from bit ecomm sites. It’s protective but the ratcheting mechanism used to tighten the suspension system tends to be very uncomfortable with some hot-spots at the rear, and the pawls inside the knob itself tends to wear out. Eventually, you won’t be able to tighten it as much as needed.
