This is a good pannier, yes it's not as sturdy as a £70 Ortlien but for the price is excellent. I've been using mince for 6 months on the daily commute and put my work rucksack into the pannier. I don't remove the pannier from the bike nad it lives quite happily there managing shopping trips for groceries or when i pop into town at the weekend.
I bought a bright yellow one, the red is good.
You can improve the bottom attachment by adding a few pop rivets to hold the bag to the plastic backing to make it a bit more secure. Also upgrade teh velcro strap to the hook from the 900 pannier model (see this part https://www.decathlon.co.uk/lower-rail-hook-set-id_8538528.html ) and by drilling two holes you have a much better attachment to your rack. An inexpensive £3.99 upgrade.
Would i buy again, yes i would.
I cycle everyday to work, this bag has been perfect, easily to fit, holds everything I need and waterproof, I have cycled numerous times in torrential rain and this bag has kept everything inside bone dry.
This bag is excellent. It’s quick & easy to attach & detach & so far it seems to be really tough.
Bought this to carry my dry clothes and laptop on my daily commute which takes 30 to 40 minutes. A good size and easy to fit, first sign of some decent rain and it let water in but didn't let it out quite so fast, result was my dry clothes sitting in a pool of water, fortunately I didn't have my laptop that day.
Have since switched back to my old panniers which at least let the water drain out the bottom.
B'Twin 500 NON Waterproof pannier now in the bin, waste of money.
I'm sorry to read that there was an issue with the bag. The fabric and seams are certainly waterproof but I wonder if there may be a hole in the fabric somewhere or if some water came in through the top of the bag.

I bought this item as I was sick of carrying a rucksack on short cycle tours.
I have since used it on three trips of between three and five days the longest of which saw three and a half days of torrential Scottish rain and strong winds.
I have always used a dry bag inside the rucksack and continued with it inside the pannier. There was a very small amount of water in the bottom of the pannier on the worst day but far less than I expected.
Frankly no one had dry kit on this trip and my pannier was drier inside than most. I was very impressed at its weather protection.
On the downside, I'm not convinced the soft construction would stand up to heavy use or items with hard corners or sharp edges.
I lined the sides and bottom with a thin sheet of stiff plasric and it's been fine.
The mounting system doesn't inspire confidence, however it's never fallen off either even on some pretty rough sections of trail.
Overall a very good value product for the price.
Brought as a pressie for my sister and she loves it. Have to say I like it a lot and the price is great. Going to purchase one for me also.
I've only had this bag for a month so far and it's not really seen any rain yet but so far I'm fairly impressed. Time will tell on it's durability though.
This is my first pannier bag so thought I would go for something relatively inexpensive. I use it 5 days a week to commute to work and find it rather useful as a pannier bag. There's no external or internal pockets but that's fine for me. It allows me to put my lunch box in the bottom with a jumper on top. When I get to work there's space for me to put my helmet in to carry around and after work I can get a bit of light shopping, (4 pints of milk, some bread and a few other small bits).
I find it really easy to get it on and off the bike and it's made carrying stuff to work a lot more convenient.
Good waterproof bag. Holds a lot of shopping.
Easy to use , comfortable and light. Good for use during rains. Did a coastal trip.
The construction of the bag looks good and should meet my needs.
