This inner tube allows you to continue cycling when a conventional inner tube would be flat.

BENEFITS

Compatibility

For 26" wheels and tires with a Presta valve (small valve). ETRTO 44/57 – 559

Puncture resistance

The liquid in the inner tube seals small punctures (<3 mm).

Waterproof

Optimized composition to guarantee your inner tube has a good seal.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

How to choose your inner tube

Check the sidewall for tire information (diameter and width). For example, 26 x 2.00 means your tire is 26” in diameter and 2.00” in width.
On the sidewall, you will also find the size in mm according to ETRTO standards.
For example 50-559 means the tire is 50 mm wide with an inner diameter of 559 mm (or 26 x 2.00).

Removing an inner tube

Remove the old inner tube using Btwin tire levers.

Checks to carry out before installing an inner tube

Check the condition of your tire and replace it if necessary.
Make sure no objects are lodged in the tire.
Check the condition of your tire rim strip. A rim strip that’s even slightly bent can cause punctures.
Check that your rim doesn’t have any other issues that could damage your inner tube.

Installing your inner tube

Watch our video before you start.
Pre-inflate the inner tube slightly to avoid pinching.
Make sure you’re using the correct valve for your rim and then insert it.
Put the entire inner tube inside the tire so that it fits inside the rim.
Take care not to pinch the inner tube when installing it.

Installing the tire

Start by mounting the tire onto the wheel on the side opposite the valve.
To avoid pinching, finish mounting on the valve side
Never install your tire with a screwdriver or tire lever, as you risk pinching or puncturing the inner tube.

Inflating the tire

Carefully inflate your tire to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer (visible on the tire sidewall in PSI or bars: 1 bar = 14.51 PSI).
Regularly check that your tire is in the correct position as you inflate it.

Pro tip

To prevent pinching and achieve the best performance, we recommend checking and pumping up your front tire as needed before each ride.

Bought 1 last night to fit to get to work today. Already had 2 holes in it. Too late to return it so had to walk this morning. I'm not happy
Response of the brand
Dear Sir,
I'm very sorry to read that you had two punctures so soon after only fitting it the night before.
Could you kindly reply to me with more details (where you were riding for example) as this is a worry for me.
If you are not happy with them, please return them to us for a refund or an exchange with your receipt.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Regards,
Peter, Cycling Manager, DECATHLON
