Cook what you want, where you want! Introducing the contents of the MH500 two-person cookset:
1 measuring saucepan with 1 folding handle. (1.6 L useful, 400 g, Ø 20 cm x 9.5 cm)
1 frying pan with folding and locking handle (0.5 L useful, 315 g, Ø 19.5 cm x 4 cm)
2 bowls ( 0.5 L, 71 g each)
2 mugs (0.25 L, 36 g each)
2 3-piece clippable cutlery sets (fork, spoon, knife) (21 g per set)
1 lid / strainer that fits on the pan or frying pan (82 g)
1 silicon locking system that can be used as a table mat (65 g).

The choice of materials for our cooksets: a crucial choice:
We chose 18/8 (304) stainless steel because it combines food safety and long-term resistance: It does not oxidize and prevents corrosion. Because stainless steel is less conductive than aluminium, an aluminium layer was added under our MH500 pans and frying pans. This diffuses the heat and increases heating efficiency, reducing the quantity of gas needed to cook.
How did we choose the coating for our cooksets?
Whitford-brand PTFE Xylan + coating for its anti-stick/durability/price balance and because it is adapted to fine layers of metal (unlike ceramic coatings).
This coating does not contain PFOA-based glue and is suitable for cooking foods.
As with all coated cookware, prevent damage by avoiding the use of metal cutlery or utensils.
And now, let us tell you about the plastics in our cookset!
Polyamide (cutlery and handle), polypropylene (plate), and Tritan (lid) were chosen because of their lightweight and high resistance to heat (at least 100°C), shocks, and deformation.
All our plastics in contact with food are BPA in compliance with current French regulations.
To prevent melting, do not put the plastic in direct contact with a flame.
How to get the best out of your cookset:
Our cook sets are compatible with all types of burners (wood, gas, induction, etc.).
The handle has a folding candle that locks (and unlocks) by pushing (or pulling) the metal part placed at its centre.
The saucepan’s patented two-part folding handle locks the lid during transport.
The lid adapts to the pan and frying pan and can be used as a strainer.
The structural design of the plates’ bottoms reduces heat transfer.
How to store your cookset
To optimize total size and reduce noise during transport, here’s how you should store the parts:
Cutlery fits on the lid, mugs and plates go in the pan. The table mat locks the set and the cover enables you to transport it, even when dirty.
If you are in a hurry, or aren't great at cleaning up, place all the parts in the pan (it is just noisy and less optimised!).
How to clean and maintain your cookset
Before the first use, rinse all the items three times with clean water.
After use, wash the parts in soapy water (preferably warm), then dry them before storing them in a dry place.
All the parts are dishwasher safe, however, handwashing the pans is recommended (to protect the coating). Also, avoid using abrasive sponges or sand to clean the inside of utensils.
Is there anything you should avoid with your cookset?
To avoid damage, do not heat pans when empty.
When using with a wood fire, make sure the plastic parts do not come into direct contact with flames.
Do not use metal utensils with anti-stick coatings. If you carry things in your cook set that may damage the coating, place them in a bag or wrap in cloth.
Finally, always lock the frying pan handle when using it.

The plates have a loop to hang-dry them faster.
The silicon table mat also doubles as a strap to keep the cook set closed once everything is tidied.

From the outset, we wanted to design a portable, clean, and practical product that you could use to cook outside.
What next? Many people contributed at every stage of design, 3D modelling, tests with experienced and new users and, finally, many emotions later, a product we are proud of: A "turn key" cookset, portable and easy-to-use that you can enjoy outdoors stress-free.
