its good but first impression that the battery is seperate on the back and attached with a wire to the front is a bit annoying.
Tried new batteries but still nothing. Can't find any manual online. Tried holding the button down. Tried multiple presses. Surely i can't be that unlucky that it's faulty on arrival?
Sorry to hear that this head torch is not working for you. Normally once the batteries are in place you should only need to press and release the on button for it to work. Bought as present for dog walking friend who loves it.
I've owned and used many headlamps......Petzl, Black Diamond, Princeton Tech but all of them were ''self contained'' units..the batts were housed in the headlamp and it's compact etc ..but the drawback is it's kinda weighty....
this is my first headlamp with separate pwr pack so there's no weight on my forehead...the lamp unit is mounted on a swivel and it allows for almost infinite positioning..whereas most self contained pwr units headlamps only allow you to position up or down.
the output lumens is adequate. it is good value for money...
Dec 2020..we again wud be on medical mission in Nepal..I'd get a few units for our grp..most places we operate in do not have electricity..
Thank you for your feedback. Yes, the 8503712 - ONNIGHT 210 TRAIL RUNNING HEAD TORCH 100 LUMENS - BLUE has both the power pack that is situated at the back and the light itself that is in front. And so it balances everything so you don't feel the weight concentrated on one side. With a weather classification of IPX4, the headlamp can also withstand any weather conditions.

Hope to see you again real soon.
Used during hiking, for at least 5 nights. Low beam set but still bright. Just changed batteries for precautions only.
Bought for partner who went out in the dark last night for a walk, and was chuffed at how useful it was. He walked up the old railway line and said he could see a good 5 to 6 foot circular ahead of him which is very handy in the pitch black of the countryside. He loves it.
perfect for nighttime mountain biking attaches easily to my helmet
