Got this for $10 + tax and happy with the value, price, compactness, and comfort. The pillow is a bit on the slimmer end so if you like big pillows, this might not suit you.

Okay pillow, with a fatal flaw

Initial observations, pillow has strong chemical smell and doesn't loft very well. However after first wash smell disappated almost completely and the batting lofts as expected.

However there is a significant issue. Due to the way the pillow is kept at the store, the middle of the pillow has a very noticeable crease from the rolling that is used to keep the pillow in the stuff sack. I suspect that the long storage of the pillow in this position has compressed the stuffing until it no longer lofts and provides little to no support. When laying my head on it, there seems to be a 50/50 chance that I can feel the ground/pad underneath.

It's very disappointing, as every other aspect of this pillow is good quality. The face fabric is soft but not slick, the padding in the other parts of the pillow is plush and comfortable. It's just the unfortunate method in which the pillow is stored that causes it to be less than ideal.
