TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Use temperature

All our sleeping bags display the temperature ratings, tested by an independent lab (AITEX), in accordance with the European NF ISO 23537 standard (2017).
The comfort temperature is the lower limit at which the user, in a relaxed position, is in overall thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard woman under normal conditions). Choose your sleeping bag accordingly.

What are the "limit” temperatures for use?

Limit temperature: temperature at which the user, in a relaxed position, is in overall thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard man under normal conditions).
To optimize your thermal comfort, using an insulating mattress is recommended.
This sleeping bag has a synthetic fill to guarantee performance even in damp conditions.

What you need to know about temperatures

A sleeping bag does not produce heat but retains the heat produced by the body. If you are tired and cold and you slip inside a cold, damp sleeping bag, you will probably feel cold no matter how good your sleeping bag is! So, these temperatures depend on the your resistance to cold (e.g., bulk, fatigue), equipment (e.g., mattress with insulation), clothing (e.g., naked, underwear) and weather conditions (e.g., humidity, wind).

For greater comfort, before getting into your sleeping bag

Dress simply (1 layer of clothing is enough).
Keep your head, hands, and feet warm: use hats, gloves, socks, bed warmers, friction, etc.
A bottle filled with hot water can be used as a hot water bottle (make sure its tightly closed!)
Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is transformed into heat). Do this without moving though because it can create cold drafts.
Use a sleeping bag liner to maximize the heat inside your sleeping bag.

Shape:

"Generous" mummy shape: wide at the shoulders and tighter around the feet to optimize thermal insulation (no loss of heat) and remain snug, while retaining some freedom of movement.
Width at the shoulders 70 cm, height at the feet 32 cm in size L.
Ergonomic hood with drawstring.
Two side zippers with two-way sliders. Manage cool air entry and ventilate your bag mechanically.

Weight and dimensions (2):

Volume and dimensions may vary according to the pressure applied to the product.
For your comfort, try the sleeping bag before buying it to verify the size. The advantages of mummy-type sleeping bag are their optimized weight/volume ratio and thermal comfort. With a fitted bag, there is less volume to heat (saves your energy). They can, however, limit freedom of movement, especially when the zippers are closed.

The warranty covers product defects but excludes damage caused by normal wear and tear and improper use. This special 5-year warranty is only valid on presentation of the product and receipt.
