We've had this tent for about three years and used it for backcountry camping (hiking and portaging). Perfect size for a couple (if you are over 6 feet, it is a little snug), and the weight is good for a tent of this price. Setting up is easy, except for the pole that holds

the front porch, which is held very tight by the fly of the tent and requires a bit of strength to slot in place.

I’ve owned and used many tents over the years but have never seen a tent where the fly is attached to the tent and is an essential part of the pole structure that supports the tent. This means you cannot use the tent without the fly, which isn’t an uncommon thing to do on a wa

rm, rain free night. The integrated fly also means you cannot leave it at home if you’re going backpacking on a trip where no rain is forecast and you want to cut down on the amount of weight you have to carry. The tent is very easy to set up and looks to be made with good materials but could use larger screen/ventilation panels. Decent space inside for a 2 person tent, and a vestibule is always a good think to shelter gear and keep muddy footwear and wet clothing out of the tent. Excellent quality floor. Good value for the money.
