With my bad knees, it’s easy to go on with the low frame. Also it rides so smooth.

There are no overall dimensions provided in the description for this, as other sellers provide. I saw the option for 26 inch wheels on XS but that isn't available, so i ordered the 28inch wheel model (Small/Medium). I wasn't expecting how big this bike actually looks in p

erson, videos and pictures don't convey it well. It's not easy to store at all. I will be returning this to a store for a refund. Pros: It looks gorgeous and is high quality for the price. If you're really into the look and don't mind the size, this is for you. Ultimately i wouldn't recommend purely because of the size.

    Affordable Dutch-style Bike

This is my daily rider: cycling to work, round my family's, picking up groceries etc. It's quite a heavy bike, so my journeys rarely exceed 8 miles, but it's strong enough to carry my weekly shopping a mile home. It's a very comfortable bike and the gearing is just right fo

r building up speed. The chain is partially covered which makes it slightly more weather resistant. The width of the handlebars can make parking the bicycle a little difficult as it tends to overhang and so it can be hard to park on a packed set of bars, but the same issue is found on drop handlebars. I very rarely use the dynamo, though it's a handy back up when my lights are are running low of the conditions call for a little more lighting. The seat is comfortable and allows me to ride significantly higher than traffic that makes me feel more visible, though this causes a lot of wind resistance when picking up speed, but speed isn't a top priority on a 4kg bike. I recently got it serviced (after 2 years of riding) where they replaced the gear hub chain etc. Otherwise the bike is very durable and doesn't show the signs of aging.

A reliable and nicely designed bike. The only reason I gave four stars for ease of use is because it's a heavy bike to handle and lift, but otherwise it's suitable for all my needs. Perfect for getting to work or for laid back sunny afternoons. The seat and handlebars are comf

ortable, so you can cycle for a long time. The basket at the front is very useful and cute too!

This is my second one of these bikes I must say my first was better built , my last bike was a medium frame this frame I chose a small /medium this bike is smaller than my last bike it is a perfect size for me though . I do need to take it back as every time I peddle the peddl

es or crank shaft clicks you can feel it through the peddles and makes a clicking noise ( this isn’t the gears ) . it’s when I peddle . Hopefully this problem can be fixed on a whole a brill bike but due to me having the older style I’d say the newer ones aren’t as well made

    Review of bike.
    Megan

    : [object Object]

Just been on the school run with this bike, child seat attached. The bike is very unbalanced with weight of child in the seat and she’s only 10kg. It seems to be a flimsy bike. I saw reviews about the brakes being loud however didn’t realise how loud. The front brake is so lou

d, it’s embarrassing. I only rode the bike for 20 minutes and the seat is so uncomfortable, I would recommend buying a different seat, maybe with more padding or wear padding. With the stand up the bike is meant to stay where it is however when I tried to put my daughter into the child seat with the Stand on it nearly toppled over if I didn’t catch it. I would recommend a better, more effective bike if riding with a child in tow.

Hi Megan, It can be disconcerting to ride with a passenger on a bike, prior to doing so we need to check everything is done up right and the tyres to the correct pressure especially when we take care of a little passenger. Can I suggest if you felt this uncomfortable you get t

he bike checked out, it sounds like the tyres were either underinflated or something may be loose. With noisy brakes, If the brake hasn't been towed correctly, they can be adjusted, every Decathlon bike comes with a free in-store check within the first 3 months at any of our workshops. Seats are a personal preference, the Original equipment of the Manufacture Seat will never suit everyone, I recommend having your sit bones measured as seats come in different widths that way you know you have a seat that suits your needs. and finally, regarding child seats and stands, please never place a child in a child seat on a bike with a side stand, always use a centre stand, the bike should always be secure and we should always have control of the weight of the bike and never allow it to be free-standing with the child in the seat without taking hold of the bike. I hope this helps and please if you need any further help or advice please get in touch with us or reply to this answer.
