it's comfortable but for those who would like to carry it on a bike rack, it's very heavy (about 20 kg).

Purchased the Elops 520 for commuting to work, the built in dynamo and lights is really great.
Bike is stylish, smooth and a pleasing ride.
Only thing I'm not a fan of is the weight of the bike uphill! I'm sure it will get easier with time.
Bought this bike about one month or so ago and am relatively happy with the build quality so far, its not too heavy, not too light and does what is necessary to get to and from work. It doesn't use disk brakes, meaning maintenance should be easier for puncture repairs etc, broken glass.
However the adjustments done in the store were not perfectly safe in my opinion. After a day of cycling the handle bar twisted out of alignment, and today one of the nuts on the back wheel came loose while cycling and made the bike unusable until it was realigned and repaired/retightened.
A good commuter bike I think for me ( 5ft 11inches ), I love the palm rests on the handle bars and the comfortable saddle. The pedals/bell feel a little cheap perhaps but they are functional enough for the price and the tyres are ( as others reported ) not great for stopping in the wet as not a lot of traction, but for a mostly flat terrain commute it stops ok when I need it to. I recommend sitting on the store rep to ensure that the bike fixtures are tightened securely when you buy and also maybe re-tightening them yourself when the bike has begun to "settle".
