Fantastic glasses for the money, they really do make all the difference whilst belaying in/outdoors.
However, I have had to superglue the lenses back on several times when the have taken a knock.
As the plastic frame is quite bendy, the glue easily separates from the frame causing the lens to pop off. It's not a major problem to superglue them back on but can be a bit irritating at the time.
Handle with moderate care!
For the price these are fantastic and serve their purpose.
Good quality product, excellent value for money.
Thanks for your review. We are pleased you like our product. Hopefully see you again soon!
Very good for belaying, i bought a cheaper version from eBay which didn't work as well and weren't as stylish. You can see under and over these which makes them more practical. no need to take them on and off.
Use quality plastic in manufacturing the goggles and more sturdy desigy
Thanks for giving your valuable feedback on the Simond Belay Glasses. I am sorry that the product didnt not meet your expectations.
We use a mix of Polycarbonate(one of the most strong thermoplastic polymer available) and TPU( for it's elasticity and resistance to abrasion) for our Simond belay glasses. These glasses are developed for climbers of various levels and have been tested extensively by our team of climbers before reaching the shelves, however it does take a bit of time getting used to them.
Constant improvement is in the DNA of Decathlon and we would be very happy to hear from you how we can enhance the comfort and practicality of these glasses for climbers like yourself. Please share your number so I can directly reach you.

Used during one climbing trip and got it chipped in two different places already, it is however by far the most affordable to try.
Really well made and a fraction of the price compared to other brands.
