SIZING RECOMMENDATIONS

For beginner climbers, we recommend choosing a shoe the same size as your normal size.
They should feel tight without hurting.
If you are a climber working to improve your skills, you can buy them tighter (1 size below normal, for example), but it's important they don't hurt, so that your foot can develop mobility, proprioception, and strength. You will also enjoy climbing more.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Our first tip is to never machine wash your shoes. Thermal and mechanical pressure could damage them. We recommend that you wash them by hand, either with a sponge soaked in clean water or with a sponge soaked in soapy water (Marseille soap), being sure to air-dry them at a stable temperate and avoid drying them on a radiator or in full sunlight. We recommend washing them regularly to increase the life span of the shoes.

RESOLING TIPS

The sole bushing wears out quickly when climbing. For regular climbers, the life of the bushings is generally 6 months to 1 year. This depends on many factors (type of rock or resin, climbing style, types of routes, etc.). As soon as you see the synthetic leather through the bushings, you must get them resoled. If you pierce the synthetic leather, resoling will be difficult. Our Decathlon workshops offer resoling services to extend the life of your shoes.

Good product but a bit on the expensive side.

good beginners shoe

bought as a replacement when i needed something cheap. these are good for beginners/intermediate but i wouldn’t recommend for climbers beyond that. i used these once a week for around a year and a half on routes, and they have worn down significantly to the point of being glassy. good for people who climb only a few times a month since they wear down fast. they’re alright for bouldering but i find the toe quite wide and not enough flex in the shoe.

Bought these a couple of months ago. The shoes look good but they started to really stretch where the rubber meets the grey material and I can see them ripping in a month's time. Also, either the dye or the lining causes me an annoying skin irritation which after a two hr session becomes a proper allergic reaction. Unfortunately, I will have to bin them.

Buy 1 or 2 size lower than your normal shoes to experience the better grip, in beginning you feel little uncomfortable after some time it's expand little and take your foot size.
Material is fine, strips add more beauty to the shoes, you can wear it easily and remove it easily. It's Hold on to the little edges which increase your climbing grade.
Recommend for advance level climber.

Nice product for natural routes and trad climbing, for medium grade climbers. Recommended to take 2 to 3 size lower as it expand alot compare to other brands. Straps are perfect.

I have been using this shoe for indoor bouldering for more than 2 weeks, good grip and comfortable. Best beginner climbing shoes you can get for below 100$.
