Store Availability

Our freerider-designers created this ski like a mini 4X4. It welcomes all types of unprepared terrain and is tailored to intermediate freeriders.

BENEFITS

Buoyancy

With a waist width of 89 mm and its rocker, this ski offers good floatation.

Easy to handle

Its short radius, flexible tip, and rocker make it more manageable and tolerant

Stability

Wood construction and straight sidewalls give stability and comfort in all snow.

Traction

The camber under foot gives this ski good handling characteristics on hard snow.

Versatility

40% trail and 60% off trail. It copes well with the terrain's irregularities.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Construction

Woodcore Tec is a construction with a wooden core and vertical edges. The advantage of this construction? It makes the ski very versatile and comfortable, whatever the type of snow.

Bindings

Tyrolia branded bindings, PR10 MBS, Din 3 to 10.
Multiple boot sole standards (MBS) compatible with soles - Alpine, GripWalk, Walk Sole, and Walk To Ride.
Suitable for boots between 255 mm and 378 mm

Durability

Black sole for easier repairs.
Topsheet semi-cap to avoid use of scales.

Preparation

Waxed and sharpened skis, ready to use. Edges sharpened at 89°.

What is a camber?

When placing a ski on the ground, its points of contact are found near the nose and tail, whereas the middle of the ski (under the bindings) is slightly raised (this is the camber). The longer and higher the camber, the greater the edge grip and more responsive the ski. A ski with a lower camber is more forgiving and offers better handling.

What is a rocker?

On a "rocker" ski, the nose and sometimes the tail come off the ground much sooner than with a cambered ski. This moves the points of contact towards the centre of the ski. The surface of the ski in contact with the snow is smaller: they have better handling and more floatation on soft snow. When leaning into turns, the edge length offers more edge grip on hard snow. The longer the rocker, the better the handling of the ski.

What are ski sidecuts?

The sidecuts have 3 measurements, the width of the shovel (front of ski), the waist (middle of ski), and the tail (back of ski). The wider the shovel, the more easily the ski enters turns. The slimmer the waist, the more edge grip the ski has on hard snow. The wider the waist, the more comfortable and stable the ski is in changing snow conditions. The wider the tail, the more stable the ski is in turns. The slimmer the tail, the easier it is to side-slip.
