The benefits of a “ball fibre” synthetic fill
The “ball fibre” fill is a good alternative to feathers:
- a blend of multiple fibres with a large capacity to trap air and insulate from the cold
- good thermal insulation even when damp
- it is easy to care for, machine washable, and can be tumble dried
The application of a water-repellent treatment prevents water from being absorbed by the fabric’s surface.
Since water “slides” off without being absorbed, the garment stays lightweight, breathable, and warm. Note: it is not waterproof.
Apply sprays to the outside instead of using additives during washing, which can damage the product’s breathability.
Our environmental approach

The hood and sleeves are also filled with 90% recycled fibres
The inside hood fleece lining is made from 100% recycled fibres
