What makes sports earphones different from standard earphones?
When you run, your whole body moves. Your earphones need to be perfectly stable in your ears. You sweat when you run, so your earphones need to be resistant to perspiration. And you need to remain aware of outside noises. These three different requirements guided our choices throughout the design of the ONear 100 sports earphones.
The earphones that stay in place when you're running!
In order to make your ONear 100 Bluetooth earphones perfectly stable in your ears:
- The silicone buds were designed with wing tips which fit into your ears. The earphones are thus stabilized, without causing discomfort.
- We added a clip to the ONear 100 earphones so you can attach the cable to your T-shirt or jacket.
Balanced sound thanks to "bass-reflex" technology
The ONEAR 100 earphones are worthy of all your favourite tracks, with a miniature version of "bass-reflex" technology, often used in lounge speakers: a tube at the rear of the earphone creates a vent towards the outside. This system provides balanced sound by accentuating the bass, which often takes a back seat in this type of earphone.
Gentle on your ears
We selected soft silicone for the buds of the earphones that fit in the ears. We designed the buds so they don't enter your ear canal. As a result, the feeling of pressure when running is avoided. We studied ear shapes and conducted comfort tests with our testers to help us design these buds.
Good perception of external sounds
Whether you are running in town, in a park, or in the country, it's unpleasant to feel yourself cut off from the world. We chose an "open" design. That means the buds don't enter your ear canal. It's more comfortable and you will still be able to hear external sounds.
Perspiration is no longer a problem!
When it's hot out and you are running, you will sweat. ONear 100 running earphones are sweat resistant. There is a textile membrane over the acoustic hole of the earphones, protecting them from perspiration.

With the old cable earphones, many of you complained that the buds fell out all the time. We have designed a system on the earphones so that doesn't happen anymore. If your buds still fall out, please contact our after-sales service to order a new pair.
Washable silicone tips
If, after numerous runs, you think your earphones need a cleaning, you can detach the silicone tips and rinse them out. To clean the earphones themselves, wipe them with a cloth. Don't put them in water, as they aren't designed to be submerged.
An extension of your phone!
The ONear 100 earphones are equipped with a multi-function remote control and microphone so that you can:
- pause your music (press the button)
- skip to the next track (press the button twice)
- answer a call (press the button)
- reject a call (press the button twice)
- hang up (press the button)
- Open Siri or Google Voice (press the button for 2 seconds)
