TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Water repellency of the component

All Wedze gloves and mittens are treated for water repellency to ensure they shed water without absorbing it. This means the fabric does not become waterlogged. It remains light and warm. A treatment applied to the outer surface makes the fabric water repellent. To remain effective, this treatment must be renewed every 2 to 3 washes with specific products that are available in our stores.

Waterproof membrane

These ski gloves have a water-resistant membrane, a very thin polymer film, between the lining and the outer part of the glove. This membrane acts as a barrier to make the product waterproof. Plus, the outer materials of the gloves are treated to reduce water absorption. Only a rubber-type glove is waterproof. Under extremely humid conditions, a glove with a membrane will have limited waterproofness.

Windproofing

All Wedze gloves and mittens are windproof. Did you know that the wind makes you feel colder? At an outside temperature of 0°C and a wind speed of 20 km/h, the temperature will feel like -10°C. Windproof fabrics limit wind chill and cold caused by the speed of the sport.

Easy to get on and off

Simply pull the wrist-strap with the opposite hand.

Loss prevention system

An elastic drawstring that you position around the wrist allows you to remove your gloves on ski lifts without the risk of losing them.

Airtight gloves

With its wide cuff, the glove fits naturally over your ski jacket, blocking any air and snow from entering.

Usually find Decathlon stuff a size smaller but these were spot on. Kept the snow out and kids never once go cold.
