These extremely warm gloves were designed for young regular skiers. Easy to put on, soft & waterproof, all-day comfort on the slopes.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Component’s water-repellent property

Wedze gloves and mittens are treated for water-repellency to ensure that water is not absorbed, but rolls off the surface. This means the fabric does not become saturated with water. It remains light and warm. A fabric is made water-repellent by applying a treatment to its outer surface. To remain effective, this treatment must be restored every 2 to 3 washes using specific products available in our stores.

Waterproof membrane

This ski glove has a waterproof membrane that consists of a very thin polymer film, placed between the lining and the part of the glove in contact with the outside. This membrane acts as a barrier to make the product waterproof. The product’s outer materials are also treated for water repellency. Only a rubber-type glove is watertight. A glove with a membrane, under extremely humid conditions, will have limited waterproofness.

Windproof

All Wedze gloves and mittens are windproof. Did you know that the wind makes you feel colder? At an outside temperature of 0°C and a wind speed of 20 km/h, the temperature will feel like -10°C. Windproof fabrics limit wind chill and cold caused by the speed of the sport.

Sealing

A special cuff has been built inside the 500 gloves. This soft and comfortable cuff keeps out drafts and snow from getting into the glove. Extra warmth.

Easy to put on

Simply pull the wrist-strap with the opposite hand.

Anti-loss system

An elastic drawstring that goes around the wrist can be used to remove the gloves on ski lifts without losing them.

My 6 year old plays in the snow and uses these for skiiing. She loves playing with them because she has good grip and finds them dextile. She plays in -15 Celsius temperatures and has no problem staying warm.
