Volume 18 L / dimensions: H: 47 cm / L: 20 cm / D: 22 cm
Weighs just 527 g.
The back adjusts to 3 positions: 130/140/150 cm
Zip-up pockets: 1 inner, 1 outer, 1 phone pocket in belt, 2 net pockets.
Abrasion-resistant component (bottom and back)
Lab tests are conducted to validate components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foam padding, zippers, etc. For example, for a fabric: resistance to abrasion and tearing, colour fastness in UV light, resistance to washing, waterproofing, etc. Then a test is conducted on the finished product to replicate the forces on the backpack over several years to check the strength of assemblies: the backpack is weighted, then placed on a dummy that reproduces fast walking movements over thousands of cycles.
How to adjust your backpack
1 - Set the back height adjuster to your child's height in cm (remove the velcro strap and thread it through the loop colour you want to use).
2 - Loosen all the straps (shoulder straps, belt, load adjuster straps).
3 - Put the backpack on.
4 - Tighten the shoulder straps.
5 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed
The warranty covers any backpack defects, excluding those caused by normal wear or improper use. This special 10-year warranty will only be granted if you bring in both the receipt and product. If the product is covered by the warranty, we will repair or exchange it free of charge. This sales warranty does not affect applicable federal/provincial laws.
How is backpack volume measured?
We use a standardized method to measure the volume of each backpack: the main compartment and each pocket are filled with little balls. Then we empty the balls into a graduated container, which gives us the equivalent volume in litres, with a tolerance of a few %.
Our reference sample was used to determine the weight when empty. There may be slight variations.
