Over time, they will age, and some parts can wear or break.
To make repairs easier, we sell tightening buckles and chest clips that are compatible with your bag. Don’t throw away, repair!

Water bladder

There is a compartment in the bag to place a water bladder as well as a hole to let the tube out.
The water bladder is not included, but you can buy a 1, 2 or 3 litre one in store.

Tip: Detachable front pocket

Our model comes with a detachable front pocket. Depending on your body shape, it can be really useful to move your pocket to the front using the rip tab to make it accessible. Plus, it won’t annoy you on the sides when hiking.

Waterproofing

Not waterproof. If you want to protect your belongings from the rain, you can buy a 20 to 40 L rain cover, available on our website (reference 8734213).

Carry-on baggage

When you are travelling by plane, the authorized carry-on luggage size is 55 x 35 x 25 cm maximum. This can vary depending on the airline.
This bag can be used as carry-on luggage as long as you don’t load the top too much.

How to adjust the backpack

1 - Loosen all the straps (shoulder straps, belt, load adjuster straps). 2 - Put the backpack on.
3 - As this bag is small in volume, put the belt around the waist and tighten it. 4 - Tighten the shoulder straps.
5 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed

How to pack a backpack

Put your bedding at the bottom. Place heavy equipment against your back. Pack your clothes around these items. Keep a waterproof and/or fleece jacket at hand. Place small frequently used items in the pockets (sunscreen, map, glasses, etc.). The water bladder can be placed in the compartment generally provided down the back.

How to care for and wash your backpack

We recommend handwashing your backpack. Use soapy, lukewarm water and focus on the areas in contact with the body (shoulder straps, back, and belt), using a brush if needed.
This is the best way to maintain the fabric’s properties, particularly the waterproofing.
Rinse well with lukewarm water and dry away from heating sources and sunlight. Store in a dry place.

It's pricy. Not really large enough for all my stuff. However, every easy on my back. Not for people over 5'8" tall.

In terms of value for money this pack is difficult to beat. The four-point back padding takes a little getting used to, but creates a well ventilated space second only to a suspended mesh back. Ideal for a day’s hiking with the main interior compartment accommodating a surprisingly large amount of kit. Look forward to carrying it over many a hilly kilometre in the near future.

Really happy with this bag for the price. It's suitable for a light day of hiking, although you might struggle for space for a longer winter hike. I was able to bring my water, waterproofs, lunch and a few bits and pieces for my day. The hip belt is wide enough to be comfortable, which is really important to me.
