Our environmental approach
Dyeing textiles requires a lot of water and discharges wastewater into the environment.
To reduce this impact, we use the following two dyeing processes:
1. We don’t dye the interior fabric.
2. We dye in bulk, adding colour pigments as yarn is manufactured for the outer fabric on blue, black, and khaki models (reference numbers: 8502149, 8551453, and 8731421).
How is volume measured?
We use a standardized method to measure the volume of each backpack: the main compartment and all the pockets are filled with small balls. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container to determine the equivalent volume in litres.
How to adjust your backpack
1 - Loosen all the straps (straps, belt, and load adjuster straps).
2 - Put the backpack on.
3 - Tighten the shoulder straps.
4 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed.
How to pack your backpack
Place heavy items at the bottom. Pack clothing around these items. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece in an easy-to-access location. Place small, frequently used items in the pockets (sunscreen, map, glasses, etc.).
Tested for optimum durability and strength
These components were validated through laboratory tests: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, and zippers. For example, we test the fabric’s resistance to abrasion and tearing, colourfastness when subjected to UV light and washing, and waterproofing. We also use a dummy to reproduce several years’ hiking movement to check for resistance to wear and tear.
Your opinion is important to us.
We improved the design of the NH 100 10-L Backpack based on customer feedback.
This new version has a double zipper on the main compartment and a larger outside pocket. These features help keep your belongings safely inside when you open your bag.
Same fair price as ever!
