TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

How is volume measured?

The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: the main compartment and all the pockets are filled with little balls. These balls are then emptied into a graduated container to get the equivalent volume in litres.The volume of the bag’s main compartment is 16 L.
We also measured the volume with the 2 exterior side water bottle pockets, increasing its total capacity to 17 L.

This bag was designed using customer feedback and hikers’ observations.
The idea was to create a multi-purpose backpack for use during walks, hikes, and daily activities.
This bag has to large ergonomic handles to offer you two different and comfortable carrying modes: on your back or in your hand.

How to adjust your backpack

1 - Loosen the shoulder straps
2 - Put the loaded bag on your back, and make sure it is well balanced
3 - Tighten the shoulder straps
4 - Walk a few metres and lightly swing the bag on your back
5 - Adjust the straps one last time

How to pack your backpack

Place heavy items at the bottom. Pack clothing around these items. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece in an easy-to-access location. Place small frequently used items in the pockets (sunscreen, map, glasses, etc.).
Your water bottle goes in one of the outside pockets or inside in the main compartment.

Tested for optimum durability and strength

Backpack components are laboratory-tested, including fabric, buckles, straps, foam, and zippers. For example, we test our fabrics for abrasion- and tear-resistance, colourfastness following UV exposure and washing, and waterproofing. We also check assembly strength using a dummy that mimics a hiker’s movements to replicate several years of backpack wear and tear.

I wanted a compact, lightweight, stylish laptop bag that has lots of pockets for big and small items. This was it. It fit my Dell 5420 laptop just nicely. A bit weirded out by the flap though. If it had plastic or cardboard inside I’m unsure. Overall with the price and features, this bag delivered!
