This treatment can be restored so that it remains effective. Apply sprays on the outside instead of using additives during washing, as these additives can damage the product’s breathability.
Wind protection is very important due to the significant chilling effect wind can have on the body when you are active or at rest. According to the windchill model, a temperature of 5°C with a 30 km/h wind feels like 0°C. A temperature of 0°C with a 30 km/h wind feels like -6°C. The materials used counter the chilling effects of the wind.
the membrane is a polyurethane layer sandwiched between the softshell jacket’s inner and outer fabrics. It protects you from the wind, ensuring your body heat doesn’t escape. This membrane is also breathable: it wicks away perspiration to the outside of the garment through microscopic pores, preventing moisture build-up and keeping you warm and dry!
