Hydrophilic coating (RET=12): reduces condensation in the clothing.
Ripstop component can withstand small adventurers. 2-year warranty.
This product is designed to withstand mountain rain shower conditions.
To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more it lets water vapour generated by physical activity escape, and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 9 < RET < 12 = very breathable fabric / 12 < RET < 20 = breathable fabric / RET > 20 = little or no breathability.
Abrasion and friction resistance test: for example, we carry out lab tests to check that fleeces do not pill. Colour fastness test: we check colour fastness to ensure colours don't bleed if they come into contact with saliva. Ageing test: repeated washing must not alter the fabric's original properties, including its shape, thickness, or appearance.
