        TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

        Component waterproofing

This product is designed to withstand mountain rain shower conditions.

        Component breathability

To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more it lets water vapour generated by physical activity escape, and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 9 < RET < 12 = very breathable fabric / 12 < RET < 20 = breathable fabric / RET > 20 = little or no breathability.

        Component durability

Abrasion and friction resistance test: for example, we carry out lab tests to check that fleeces do not pill. Colour fastness test: we check colour fastness to ensure colours don't bleed if they come into contact with saliva. Ageing test: repeated washing must not alter the fabric's original properties, including its shape, thickness, or appearance.

        Product environmental impact comparison score

The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire lifespan using various indicators. An overall score from A to E helps you easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon is committed to displaying its products' environmental information. Learn more at: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/

        Care

1/ Machine wash (30 to 40°C): close velcro fastenings, gentle detergent. Wash jackets and pants inside out. Loosen straps and elastics. 2/ Avoid folding up the garment too much in the machine: this can damage it. 3/ Do not mix different types of clothes or colours. 4/ Do not use bleach. 5/ Rinse thoroughly followed by a gentle spin cycle. 6/ Hang dry or put it in the drier (low temperature, short cycle).
