TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

How it was designed...

This model was designed and validated by our Mont Blanc team.
We have improved the chassis on the A100 model so that it is ready to take on the mountains!
It is equipped with the same push-pin adjustment system and over-sized tubes. However, it can be set higher (130 cm) and comes equipped with an adjustable and supportive wrist strap, an elongated foam handle for multi-position grip, and a tungsten carbide tip that can withstand rock.

How to adjust your poles to the correct length

Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To adjust the length: press the button to release it from the hole and then slide the tube until the button reaches the hole at the desired length.
Use the line printed on the lower tube to align the button with the holes.
Never go past the "Stop" line to avoid breaking the pole.

Directions for use

These hiking poles help you balance, propel yourself forward, and evenly distribute the effort of your arms and legs.
For more safety, regularly check your pole's locking mechanism before and during your hike by firmly pressing down on it.
Do not attach to your backpack in stormy weather.

Care instructions

Properly maintaining your poles increases their lifespan and helps maintain optimal function.
If water has gotten into the pole, take apart and allow to dry. Clean away any dust and mud using a soft brush or paintbrush.
Once dry, reassemble the pole. We recommend that you do not try to oil or grease any parts.

Why are they sold individually?

At Decathlon, we have decided to sell our hiking/trekking poles individually. Firstly, because of how they are used. Some people prefer to use only one pole. This suits their needs.
Secondly, if one of your poles breaks, you only have to buy one pole rather than a pair.
