Hi Kai Mun,
Thank you for taking the time to review our products. We are pleased to hear you enjoy using the Quechua High Mountain Hiking Socks!
In addition to the various technical features you have mentioned, this item also boasts an anatomic design (specific right and left foot) which explains why it fits your foot well and doesn't run when you wear it! The loose weave on the instep under the sole keep the feet dry and the material helps to reduce chaffing while providing comfort for your hikes!
We look forward to more of your reviews and sharing! Plus, the new Decathlon app has been launched and you can now purchase all your favourite sports goods with just a few clicks on your smartphone! Yes, it's now available both in the App store and Google Play Store! Download now and happy shopping!
Thank you for your support and stay safe! :)

I expect the socks to remain high during my activity as the name of this socks say so. However, the socks recede as I do brisk walking and recede to just above my ankles at the end of my walk. And I think the socks shrink during washing.
