TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Recycled polyester

We make our polyester from plastic bottles, reducing the use of oil-based resources while preserving the material’s quality and performance.Made from 100% recycled polyester.

Fleece material: Insulates with air

The fabric’s texture and brushed knit trap air.
This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm.Lab-tested for comfort at temperatures from 7°C to 10°C without an additional jacket.

Guaranteed lifespan of two years

Wear on our hiking fleeces is tested to guarantee durability. We guarantee:
- resistance to pilling caused by contact with backpacks and arm movements
- seam strength
- resistance after several washes
- colourfastness after washing or exposure to UV light or perspiration

Dope dyeing

Bulk dyeing or dope dyeing incorporates the pigments during thread manufacture. This technique reduces the environmental impact compared to standard dyeing, which takes place once the thread has been woven into a fabric.
Our black MH 100 Hiking Fleece Jacket models use this dyeing process, and we are in the process of duplicating it for the other colours.

Where do our fleeces come from?

Created in our international design centre at the foot of the Mont Blanc in France, this fleece is then manufactured and assembled by our suppliers in Morocco, India, Vietnam, and Bangladesh.
These are partners that have genuine expertise in making our fleeces and with whom we collaborate closely.
Thanks to this relationship of trust with our industrial partners, we can create high-quality technical products.

Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont Blanc in Haute-Savoie.
This location makes it a real meeting place for our teams and outdoor sports enthusiasts. It’s the perfect place to design quality hiking products by applying our full expertise.
