My partner and I got these skates for recreational use. Both of us loved the three locking mechanism, and were excited to find skates at such a reasonable price. We have used them now 4 times and they are incredibly uncomfortable. In fact, causes pain in both the bottom of the
foot and the lower calf each time when wearing. The size is right, and we have played around with loosening. The skates appear to be too rigid to be comfortable. A real disappointment as we do not live near a decathalon (bought them on vacation) and are unable to return via mail.

Not used them yet, too soon to rate. But i can say it holds my feet very good and it has a faster bracket that makes it easy to wear. I have to answer to "recommended" question below to post the review, but really not used the shoe yet. I am sure it is a good buy.
