TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Thermal insulation

The thermal insulation keeps your young skiers neither too hot nor too cold. This garment adapts to the body’s movements and the outside environment. Wed’ze uses padding for insulation to keep the body warm. This synthetic polyester-based padding traps more or less air depending on the size of its fibres. The thicker the padding, the more air it contains and the warmer it is.

Coating treatment

The coating is a waterproof substance applied to the inside of the jacket. It prevents water from seeping in but allows sweat to escape. This way, young children stay dry and more comfortable.

Ski pass pocket

No need to get your ski pass out any more! Your sleeve has a ski pass pocket so you can access the lifts quickly.

Customization

There's a label at the top of the lining you can write your child's name on to personalise the product. Handy when you're looking for their jacket at ski camp, daycare, or school.

How to dress your children so they stay warm on the slopes

To make sure you stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-technical-layer rule: - Layer 1, the second skin, to stay dry. - Layer 2, the insulating layer, to keep heat in. - Layer 3, the protective layer, to protect against bad weather.

Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we opted for a bulk dyeing process, which involves adding dyes during the manufacture of the yarn itself.
