TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Thermal insulation

The thermal insulation will keep young skiers at the right temperature—neither too hot nor too cold. This garment adapts to the body’s movements and to the outside environment. Wedze uses wadding for insulation to keep the body warm. Wadding is a synthetic component made from polyester that stores more or less air, depending on the length of the fibres. So the thicker the wadding, the more air it contains and the warmer it is.

Coating

The coating is a waterproof substance that's spread on the inside of the jacket fabric’s exterior. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows sweat to escape. This keeps kids dry and more comfortable.

Fully taped seams

In addition to using a waterproof fabric, the jacket’s taped seams make it even more watertight. The adhesive and waterproof strips are affixed on all the inner seams of the jacket to make it perfectly watertight and to guarantee complete water-resistance.

Snow skirt

The snow skirt is a protective system located at waist level. On this jacket, it closes automatically when the child fastens their ski jacket. It prevents snow and drafts from entering, especially in the event of a fall.

Ski pass pocket

No need to get your ski pass out any more! The ski pass pocket on the sleeve lets you access the lifts quickly.

Customization

A label at the top of the back lining allows you to write your child’s name for easy identification. Handy for finding their jacket after ski class or at school.

How should you dress your kids to keep them warm on the slopes?

To keep warm and dry, just apply the 3 technical layers rule: - Layer 1 or second skin, to stay dry. - Layer 2 or the insulating layer, to keep heat in. - Layer 3 or the protective layer, to protect against bad weather.

This is a good jacket that is well suited to the conditions you can expect on the ski slopes - unlike certain other well known retailers in UK whose kit is more suited for a few hours in the local park on a rare snowy winter day in London. Good size and my daughter will grow out of this before it shows signs of any wear. Excellent value at the price
