TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Ball fibre thermal insulation

Thermal insulation provided by ball fibre filling: these are small balls of soft wadding that replicate the fill power of a down jacket. Although not as light and compressible as feathers, this component is perfectly adapted to children: it provides good warmth and is as easy to maintain as a conventional jacket.

Coating treatment

The coating is a waterproof substance that's spread on the inside of the jacket fabric’s exterior. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows sweat to escape. This way, young children stay dry and are more comfortable.

Fully taped seams.

In addition to using a waterproof fabric, this jacket was made even more watertight by taping the seams. Adhesive and waterproof strips are affixed on all the seams of the product, inside the jacket. This makes it perfectly watertight and guarantees complete water-resistance.

Over-helmet hood.

The hood can be worn on top of a ski helmet. This enables your child to be protected from the entry of cold air and snow through the neck. The elasticated lycra part on the front allows the hood to be fixed to the edge of the helmet. It follows the child's head movements, and the high collar of the jacket protects their face.

Snow skirt.

The snow skirt is a protective system located at waist level. On this jacket, it closes automatically when the child zips their ski jacket. It avoids the entry of snow and cold air when practising wintersports, especially in the event of a fall.

Ski pass pocket

No need to get your ski pass out any more! Your sleeve has a ski pass pocket for easy access to the lifts.

Customization

There is a label at the top of the back lining on which you can write your child's name to personalize the product. Practical when you want to find your jacket at ski class or school.

How to dress your children so they stay warm on the slopes

To make sure you stay warm and dry, we recommend using the three technical layers rule: - Layer 1 or second skin, to stay dry. - Layer 2 or the insulating layer, to keep heat in. - Layer 3 or the protective layer, to protect against bad weather.

Got this for my son to replace his previous Wed'ze jacket that was sadly too small. This one is age 12 - he's a skinny 11 year old - & although it's large now we're hoping it'll last him a while so the jacket is probably true to size in general.
Love the colour, although like all children his age he does attract dirt!
Really good jacket. Nice & warm for the cold snaps in the UK.
