Thermal insulation
Thermal insulation will keep your young skier at just the right temperature. The garment adapts to the child's physical activity and the outside conditions. Wedze uses padding for insulation to keep the body warm. The synthetic polyester material stores more or less air, depending on the length of the fibres. The thicker the padding, the more air it contains, and the warmer it is.
Coating
The waterproof coating is spread on the inside of the exterior fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows water vapour produced by the body to escape. This keeps kids dry and more comfortable.
Watertight main seams
In addition to the waterproof fabric, taped seams make this ski suit even more watertight. Waterproof adhesive strips taped to the inside seams make this ski suit perfectly watertight. These taped seams are in the areas most exposed to snow. On this ski suit, this means the shoulders, chest, and seat.
Durability
Sharp skis and snow sports can sometimes damage or cut the lower parts of ski suits, so we have added high-performance reinforcements to prevent tearing as much as possible. These reinforcements are on the most exposed areas: knees, seat, lower legs, and also the mitten palms.
PullN’Fit zipper design
The innovative PullN’Fit design makes it easy to adjust the leg length of the ski pants so that they adapt perfectly to your child's body shape. You just need to raise up the lower leg zippers for shorter trousers. A buttonhole system inside the sleeve lets you adjust the length of the sleeve and mitten. Your kid will be equipped for at least a couple of years!
Ski pass pocket
No need to get your ski pass out any more! The ski pass pocket on the sleeve lets you access the lifts quickly.
Customization
A label at the top of the lining allows you to write your child’s name for easy identification. Practical for finding their jacket after ski class or at school.
How should you dress your kids to keep them warm on the slopes?
To keep warm and dry, just apply the 3 technical layers rule: - Layer 1 or second skin, to stay dry. - Layer 2 or the insulating layer, to keep heat in. - Layer 3 or the protective layer, to protect against bad weather.
How to dress your children so they stay warm on the slopes
To keep your legs warm and dry, 2 layers of clothing are enough: a base layer to wick away perspiration and ski pants to protect from bad weather and provide warmth.
