As a novice to skiing they do the job at an acceptable price. They keep you warm and dry and as a beginner that what you need. After all when you start you will have occasional visits to the surface rather than gliding over it.

Bought for our 15 year old son for a school ski trip to Canada. He's tall & slim and small mens size are a good fit overall. They are a bit big around the waist but there are velco straps each side that pull the waist in to give a better fit. Not yet worn in Canada but no co
mplaints wearing them to the Snowdome.

As a first timer to skiing, I bought this to try. It kept me dry and warm out there for 4.5hrs at about 0 to -4degC. At this price point, i am happy with the performance.
