TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Eco-design

We have improved this product with an eco-design approach:
Firstly, by using a dope dye process when possible and by using a maximum of recycled fibres.
The black colour is made from 17% recycled material and 49% dope dyed, lowering CO2 impact by 27%.
As for the white colour, it is made of 49% recycled material and 18% dope dyed.

- Our polyester is produced from recycled plastic bottles, reducing the use of petroleum-based resources while maintaining the material’s breathability.

Textile dyeing requires a lot of water and also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, the bulk dyeing process we use involves adding pigments to the yarn during its production.

Which fabrics are used to make my pants warm?

To help keep you warm, we used a recycled lining for insulation (60 g/m²). This synthetic polyester-based lining traps air based on the size of the fibres to insulate you from the cold.

What is the coating?

The coating is a waterproofing material spread over the inner surface of a fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows sweat to escape. So you stay dry and more comfortable during outdoor activities.

How is the water resistance of my pants measured?

The resistance of a fabric is measured by the height of a water column in mm that can be supported by the fabric (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Components with a 3,000 mm rating can withstand the pressure of a 3,000 mm column of water (equivalent to a two-hour rain shower).

What is the cut of the 180 pants?

They have a regular fit with an internal volume that allows them to be combined with a technical base layer.

Trousers look great, but have to return as way too big!
Ordered a uk 10. I did wonder when it says this is equivalent to French 40……
The labelling says French 40 equals GB 14. Very confusing.
I’m going to reorder, but not really sure what size to go for. Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Never used them, looked more like rain trousers than ski pants.
Warm, comfortable and waterproof

These kept me warm in c. -5C conditions (with thermal leggings underneath - although I do really feel the cold) and still comfortable in c. +5C. They are comfortable (I am an 8-10 and found the 10 a much more comfortable fit - there's not any give really in the waistband) and the removable straps are useful too. Having got stuck on a steep slope and slid all the way to the bottom (on my bottom!) I can confirm these are also as snow/water-proof as could be hoped for!
