3 in 1 to adapt to all situations
The 3-in-1 system makes this jacket perfect for cold conditions (to -1°C). For warm weather outings, leave the inner layer at home and bring just the rain jacket.
You can also use the fleece alone as a mid-layer over a T-shirt.
3 options in one jacket!
The security of your belongings: The priority!
When backpacking, nothing is worse than losing your passport or getting your phone stolen.
To prevent this, we have added a large discreet and compartmented chest pocket.
Hide all your belongings in one secure place.
There is even a snap hook to attach your keys.
Reflective parts
We’ve added reflective tabs to the cuffs.
Warning, these are not standardized, they are not PPE (personal protective equipment), and do not guarantee safety or protection.
Turn up the cuff tightening tab as needed to uncover the reflective trims.
Abrasion resistance
Our fabrics are lab-tested according to different criteria:
Resistance to abrasion, to mimic the rubbing of backpack straps.
We carry out a standardized Martindale rub test, during which the jacket's fabric is rubbed against another fabric. The aim is to observe the wear limits of the product and when pilling begins. The jacket passes the test easily as it reaches 20,000 cycles on the Martindale, above the average for other jackets on the market.
Resistance to tearing
The jacket has also been subjected to single rip tearing tests. The aim is to mimic in a laboratory the effect of your jacket snagging on something and being ripped. Through this test protocol, we check that once ripped, the fabric does not tear further and continues to protect for years to come.
Did you know that your Travel 100 3-in-1 jacket is eco-designed?
The lining of this jacket is dope dyed: this means that the thread is dyed before the yarn is woven. It reduces the environmental impact, particularly water consumption.
The usual dyeing process uses a lot of water. This technique prevents over-use.
In addition, the mesh liner fabric is made from recycled polyester to limit the environmental impact
Our products' environmental impact
The environmental impact of the product is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An ABCDE rating shows the environmental impact of a product. Put forward by ADEME, it takes into account production, transportation, usage, and waste generated at the end of a product’s life.Decathlon displays this information voluntarily to help you identify products with lower environmental impact.Learn more athttp://sustainability.decathlon.com/
