I wore this in my winter adventures while hiking in North Finnish Lapland this Feb. Even in low temperatures ranging from -20 to -35°C, this outer layer was extremely warm and durable. One tip- buy a size bigger (L size fits me well, but i bought XL size and it was very comfor

What a superb coat. Don’t go and waste money on more expensive versions. This is just so cosy and warm. My only regret is not buying one sooner. It’s very lightweight - it’s not waterproof - but it’s fantastically warm.

I have used this jacket as a 3rd layer to the Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Mera Peak and Mun Peak. Please note: All winter climbs. This is an excellent 3rd layer. Team it up with thermals and a second down layer and you are good to go. If the windspeed is mild
, you won't need a shell jacket. If not, top it with a shell. I am heading to the Friendship Peak in May , followed by Island Peak and Lobuche East in September, and guess what, this is the first thing I will be packing. Does it keep your toasty warm? Yes. Could there be improvements? Maybe, if they could have a shell cover matching the colour of the jacket. But all in all, I firmly believe that this is the best purchase I have made in recent times. P.S: I have to extend my thanks Ranjan, from the Decathlon Team. I met him in 2022, when I was getting ready for the EBC and the ABC trail and he suggested me to try this product. I don't regret the decision I made that day.
