Ease of use
Pair of removable braces to hold the jacket in place when the sleeves are not being used. This is useful during intensive tasks,
such as shovelling snow, as it prevents the jacket from being blown away in a gust of wind.
This parka also has two zippers for freedom of movement at the bottom of the jacket.
All the buttons and zipper reinforcements are oversized—easy to handle even with thick winter gloves.
Large pockets inside, above and below the chest for a GPS, skiing goggles, an extra pair of gloves, etc.
The warm lining in the large hand pockets on the chest will warm up fingers stiffened by intense cold.
This jacket also has a Napoleon pocket hidden under a flap, which can be used without opening the jacket—great for finding your bearings on a map without letting any warmth escape.
The 2 zipper gussets for freedom of movement at the hem of the jacket also provide a wider range of adjustment options to fit every body shape (men or women)
Care instructions for a parka filled with down and feathers
This is the quantity of feathers for each size of the parka. This is equivalent to 90% of the theoretical weight.
S = 191 g / M = 198 g / L = 209 g / XL = 228 g / XXL = 243 g
Our traceability system means we can guarantee the origin of the feathers, in accordance with our commitment to use responsibly sourced materials. Our suppliers are committed to using only feathers that come from ducks that are bred for their meat and which are plucked after slaughtering.
This 85% down / 15% feather parka has a guaranteed fill power of 660 CUIN or more. The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. This means that down with more fill power (a higher CUIN number) occupies more space, trapping more air, and providing greater thermal insulation.

I bought this parka for a trip to Norway in February 2020. The quality of the main parka was good, but the fur trim of the hood did not match the images on the web site. The fur length was good at the two ends but was very short in the central section. This may be a quality control issue. I will be pleased if a replacement trim with consistent trim could be sent before my visit to Norway
