        TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

        Component waterproofing

This product is designed to withstand the conditions of a downpour in the mountains.

        Component breathability

To find out whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapour generated by physical activity is able to escape, and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 9 < RET < 12 = very breathable fabric / 12 < RET < 20 = breathable fabric / RET > 20 = little or no breathability.

        Durability of the components

Resistance to wear test: for example, we use laboratory tests to check that the fleece does not pill. Colour fastness test: we check colour fastness to ensure that colours do not bleed when coming into contact with saliva. Aging test: repeated washing must not alter the fabric's original properties, including its shape, thickness, or appearance.

        Product environmental impact comparison score

The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire lifespan, using various indicators. An overall score is assigned from A to E to help identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks). Decathlon is committed to displaying environmental information about its products. For further information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/

        Care

1/ Machine wash (30 to 40°C): close hook & loop fastenings, gentle detergent. Wash jackets and pants inside out. Loosen straps and elastics. 2/ Avoid folding garment excessively in machine: this can damage it. 3/ Do not mix different types of clothes or colours. 4/ Do not use bleach. 5/ Rinse thoroughly followed by a gentle spin cycle. 6/ Dry either on a washing line or in the drier (minimum temperature, minimum duration).
