TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Frame

Special Btwin frame.
V-frame designed for children aged 3-5 years. Lowered in the middle to make it easier for children to get on and off.

Brakes

Specially designed for children’s small hands, the innovative Stop Easy brakes require 30% less braking effort than traditional levers. Front cantilever brake and rear hub brake for progressive braking.

Position

Btwin handlebar and grips. Comfortable foam saddle.
The handlebars are designed specifically for children and the grips are suited to small hands. Plus, it’s height adjustable, so it grows with your child. The saddle height is also adjustable.

Wheels/Tires

Tires with an inner tube (inflatable) and knobs. Btwin chose to put on real tires to help get around obstacles (curbs, etc.) and for better grip on common terrain (paths, grass, etc.).

Drivetrain

Freewheel. Safer: children don’t need to pedal, even going downhill.

Chainguard

Special Btwin chainguard with patterns inlaid into the plastic. Btwin created this chainguard to fully cover the mechanical drivetrain parts (crank, chain, freewheel, etc.) in order to reduce the risk of pinching (of small fingers) or catching (of laces) and to keep clothes clean.

Accessories/Equipment

Special Btwin mudguard, bell, and training wheels that can be installed and removed without tools: makes it easy to transport the bike, and to learn to ride!
This model can also be fitted with the Btwin parent pole (sold separately) for learning to ride safely and easily.

This is an amazing bike for what you pay. My daughter loved this bike, gained confidence and absolutely enjoyed it. The use of real brakes is great, rather than the pedal brakes that most bikes for his age have.

First impression, it looks really well made, the parts are heavy and seems to be made of sturdy material. We removed the training wheels and our daughter who did the balance bike for a couple of years easily transitioned to this one with pedals. Parents might find it a little heavy vs. Strider but so far, for 3 weeks, it seems to be no problem at all. Our daughter obviously had a few bumps and falls by now, by the bike seems to be really built for these incidents. Overall, great buy! Plus factor that it looks SUPER CUTE! :)
