Ready to go cycling? This 16" bike was designed so children between the ages of 4 and 6 and measuring 105 to 120 cm can learn to cycle like the big kids.

BENEFITS

The lowered frame makes it easy to mount.Compatible with 16" training wheels.

Brake control

“Stop easy” is an exclusive braking system for small hands.

Easy to use

Mudguards to protect against splashes and a stand for easy storage.

Bike safety

The integrated chainguard protects the child from the parts of the drivetrain.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Stop Easy innovation: a patented braking system designed for children.

Our Stop Easy system provides accessible brakes and a comfortable grip. For more natural movement, the brake lever is pressed parallel to the handlebars. While progressive, this innovative brake lever also provides 30% more braking power compared to a conventional brake lever. A Btwin innovation loved by both parents and children.

Brake type

Brake efficiently thanks to the two V-brake brake pads.
These brakes are composed of calipers that exert more or less pressure on the rim to slow down or stop the rotation of the wheels.

Wheels/Tires

Tires with an inner tube (inflatable) and knobs. Shaped to provide good grip on everyday terrain (paths, grass, etc.).

Can training wheels be added?

Yes, if your child needs them. Our 16" Btwin training wheels are compatible with all our bikes in this size. Practical and easy to mount and remove from the bike without tools.

What about comfort?

Designed with kids’ body shapes in mind: the width of the handlebars and the diameter of the grips are designed for their small hands. The foam saddle provides a comfortable seat.

A bike that grows with the child

The saddle’s height can be adjusted as your child grows.

What is a guard for?

For greater safety to little fingers, the mechanical elements of the drive train (crank, chain, freewheel, etc.) are encased in the guard. It also prevents laces getting caught and clothes being dirtied. The decorations are set into the plastic of the guard for greater durability.

What accessories come with the bike?

A bell, front and rear light, wheel reflectors (reflective parts attached to the spokes).

Excellent bike, very pleased
Sarah (United Kingdom) Used for 3 to 8 weeks
After a disappointing experience with Argos bikes, me my son and my mum went to decathlon store in Manchester to have a look at bikes for my 6 year old son for his birthday. My son fell in love with 500 robot kids bike. We've bought the bike fully assembled, it was tested and I had one very happy little boy. He's never off that bike and now wants to take it to school. Well worth the buy.
Decathlon are excellent, great customer services and good quality for money.

Bought this bike three weeks ago for my 6yr old's birthday - from day one we've had problems with the brakes, the front brake cable keeps coming out of the 'holder' and now they are not working at all. I believe other customer have had similar issues too.

Brought this bike for my 5 year old and the day after the cable for the breaks became loose and kept detaching, leaving it unable to work! Despite tightening it continued to detach. Very disappointed.
Response of the brand
I'm sorry to read that there is an issue with your brake cable. It clearly doesn't sound right at all.
Please return it to your local store who will examine the brakes and either rectify the fault or provide you with a new bike.

Peter, Cycling Manager, DECATHLON
