Why choose the B1?

Equipped with 2 front wheels and a unique patented steering system, this scooter was designed with the help of a physical therapist. The deck tilts at a precise angle that’s safe for children, which means they don’t lose their balance when pushing forward or turning.
The curved handlebar improves the rider’s position.
Plus, this intuitive scooter helps children learn to steer, supporting their psychomotor development.

How does the B1 promote psychomotor development?

Developing psychomotor skills involves mastering your balance, learning hand, foot, and eye coordination, and understanding how your body is oriented in space.
This 3-wheeled scooter was designed in collaboration with a physical therapist to help kids aged 2 and up learn to ride safely while having fun.

How does the B1 work?

Thanks to a unique patented steering system, the scooter’s deck has just the right tilt for a young rider. It prevents the child from being thrown off balance when pushing forward or turning. The intuitive design helps children develop their basic motor skills.

Safety precautions

Kids of all ages should wear protective equipment when riding a scooter. Remember to get your child a helmet. They may also need knee pads and elbow pads depending on their level.

Is the B1500 easy to ride?

The PU rubber wheels and ABEC 1 bearings offer good but limited glide. The aim is not to frighten the child by building up too much speed.

How much does the B1 weigh?

At 1.5 kg, it’s light enough for parents to carry.

Changing the deck cover

The scooter has 5 screws that fasten the coloured deck to the frame. The deck is an essential component that’s sold separately. It can be replaced as often as you like.

How should you maintain the B1?

Check the condition of your scooter before and after each ride. Remember to look for abnormal play, cracks, and sharp edges. The wheels and bearings are wearing parts. They should be checked and replaced if necessary. To repair your scooter and extend its life, visit your local Decathlon workshop to order any spare parts you need.

Transporting the B1

The handlebar can be removed and fixed underneath the deck with a rubber strap. This makes the scooter less bulky for easy transportation and storage.

How are our products tested?

All of our scooters have been lab-tested. These tests verify compliance with the European standards for scooters and check wear on the scooter. For example, one of our tests involves a machine that folds the scooter 10,000 times to check its folding system. we field-test our skateboards to gather feedback and really put each product through its paces.

Les grandeur est parfait pour mon garçon de 2 ans, avec beaucoup de place pour grandir. Les trois roues apportent assez de stabilité pour permettre aux tous petits de s'en servir. The turning radius isn’t great..but it’s perfect for my 2.5 yr old! It’s great for her to learn and attain balance on her own.

Little one loves this scooter. However have noticed her falling off more and more off the scooter from some difficulty steering she is 4 now. Today was riding scooter to school and the brake snapped off so my little one then stumbled and hurt herself over the scooter as she tryed stopping. Not very happy with this product. And currently looking for a new scooter. Loved the fact I could change out the board colours as little one constantly changes the colours she likes.
