We offer a wide range of swimwear for beginner surfers. These pieces are intended for surfers who are just learning or who surf only a few times a year. They’re suitable for shallow waters where your feet touch the bottom and for only small or broken waves.
This one-piece swimsuit has a sporty, feminine look. The cross-back straps ensure freedom of movement, and the cut is designed
to minimize chafing against the board.
Our swimsuits are designed to stay in place in the waves. Our women’s styles are tested by a panel of 12 or more female surfers with different body types. They’re first tested in a pool under simulated surfing conditions, then worn during real sessions in the ocean.
Girls’ swimsuit sizes
At Decathlon, we design swimsuits for young surfers based on age and height. Height is a crucial factor, as kids of the same age can have completely different measurements. We recommend trying swimsuits on in-store when possible.
Our girls’ swimsuit sizes
Here is the size guide for our girls’ swimsuits:
Age 4–5: 105–114 cm
Age 5–6: 115–124 cm
Age 7–8: 125–132 cm
Age 8–9: 133–142 cm
Age 10–11: 143–150 cm
Age 12–13: 151–160 cm
Age 14–15: 161–169 cm
Dry and wet sizing
Swimsuits become looser when wet, so it’s important to choose the correct size. The swimsuit should fit snugly when you try it on in the fitting room. Keep in mind that the spandex in some of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.
