Fitness T-shirts vs. running T-shirts: what's the difference?

When exercising, you move in all directions. That means you need a T-shirt or bottoms that are long enough to keep you covered when you raise your arms or bend over. Fabrics need to be stretchy and breathable to follow your every move and provide good moisture management. All our products were designed to meet these needs, which are different from running!

The 360° concept: clothes that move with you!

An example? All our T-shirts feature a special cut at the shoulders to keep you moving freely. How did we come up with the idea? Our team observed users at gyms and worked with our R&D lab. And because style also matters, our designers drew inspiration from the energy of the sport to create dynamic lines. The result: Fabrics and a look that suit your sport! This is the 360° concept: high-tech enjoyment.

Are products tested before being sold?

Of course! All our fabrics must successfully pass rigorous lab tests to ensure your comfort and safety. We test them for colourfastness, resistance to repeated washing, perspiration wicking and more - we call these our "torture tests."

And after that? Is that it?

Not quite. We then have athletes put our products through the ringer. We listen to and analyze their feedback to fix what needs to be improved. And only then is your athletic clothing ready!

What if I'm not satisfied with my product?

You have 365 days to return your product to any DECATHLON store if it does not meet your expectations (although maybe not straight after a workout...). You can also try products out for seven days before you pay (with a pre-authorization on your bank card, which will be automatically debited after seven days) to be sure the product suits your needs!

I am so sorry that you had an unpleasant experience with the Men's Basic Fitness T-shirt. As this fitness T-shirt is designed for occasional exercises hence, the material used is polyester for extra dry fit and breathability. We avoided using any warm and thick component as it may not be sweat absorbent. Therefore, kindly help us understand the issue that you are facing during your workouts so we can assist you to choose the T-shirt best for your exercise.

If you are a regular fitness practitioner, I suggest you try one with proper back mesh for additional breathability. It has special fabric under the arms and on the back to get rid of unpleasant odors. It is made up of too thin a fabric and it literally sticks to your skin, so it will only suit you if you are in a really good shape.

I personally do not prefer clothes which are so thin.

Fabric is getting washed out slowly. So don't think it's quality product rather an Avg product. This time Decathlon couldn't deliver good quality product.

Now a days everytime I buy the quality of cloth is getting thinner and thinner
Quality of tshirt which I bought previously say around year ago is different and quality of cloth which I bought few months ago is very low

Our FTS 100 cardio T-shirts are designed to deliver free movement for beginners, who wish to start their cardio exercises which involve less stretching of arms and muscles. As this fitness T-shirt is designed for occasional exercises hence, the material used is polyester for extra dry fit and breathability. We avoided using any warm and thick component as it may not be sweat absorbent.
