Went on a trek to Valley of Flowers, and Hemkunt Sahib through Govind Ghat. Then trekking near Badrinath. Shoe protects the twisting of the ankle. Is water proof. Looks fabulous.
Buy a pair of extra thick socks too!
Feet get went in them
At a clearance price of 2 k it was just unimaginable
Really nice tough boots that are very comfortable when broken in properly. I have been super happy with them. However after two years of moderate hiking the grip is getting low and one of the eyelets is starting to come out. So I am very sad as they are now super comfy. Good boots for the money.
Stretches according to your feet
when I was purchasing I was told by the staff that this is the high level of boots for trekking and will be perfect for snow trekking too, but on the entire trek, I suffered a lot as I was not having any grip at all.
Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the product.
Trek 500 Boots have cross contact grips, which is made for wet and rough surfaces while trekking but for a packed snow surface you need snow grips as trekking boots slip in hard snow. If you are trekking with a trekking organization most of them provide snow grips which is included in the package and if you are trekking solo you can buy snow grip here : https://www.decathlon.in/p/8574173_snow-hiking-anti-slip-grip-sh900-black.html
I hope the information was helpful, Kindly write back to me if you have any further queries.

Have use it to trek to Tilicho Nepal and some minor treks. Rough Terrain and Snow. Socks remained warm too. The sole kind of helps, doesn't make you slow down. I bought it to tackle mild water(that doesn't mean jumping in a stream), rough terrain, snow so it works for me. And it is still new. -ve: Not comfortable when tight.
