These are great t-shirts but they do come up a bit small. The thing i'm most confused by is how they keep increasing in price. The first time I bought one it was priced at £11.99 a few months later they had increased to £14.99 and now 4 months on since I bought my first one they are now priced at nearly double the original price at £19.99.
Would I recommend this product... at the original price yes, they get 5 stars but now the price is nearly double.. I have to say NO.
I wonder if Decathlon could explain this?
Fine enough tee but too short in body - if your tall, look elsewhere or be prepared to show some fresh !!
I love these, what I would class as, lightweight base layers.
They are better than pure merino on that they are tougher ( washing machine etc) than 100% merino.
They are just comfortable to wear. I can say with certainty that as part of a layered system they do their job of keeping me warm. No obvious build up of sweat like you get with cotton.
Not sure about sweaty smell residue because I change them frequently. I'm sure they do that job as well in a long distance walk as well if worn continously for a number of days. Well see when lockdown ends and I can get away for days at a time.
I like them.
Pros: It does what it promises. It regulates temperature and odor very well and dries quite easily.
Cons: If you're used to cotton shirts, there is a bit of a learning curve due to itchiness.
The shirt has developed three small holes on the chest, after only being worn 5-10 times and only washed a few times. Decathlon says this is normal wear and tear and not covered by warranty. I'd hate to know what this shirt would look like after a year or two of more rigorous use. Would not recommend!
For how much you pay, it's a great merino t shirt. The sizing is pretty off. I'm usually a medium however had to buy XL. After one wash the t shirt came out twisted. Unsure if it's my washing machine or the shirt but a bit bummed out. Nevertheless for $25 I'd buy another one.
