This shirt keeps me very comfortable when doing outdoor activities in the winter. When doing strenuous activities (e.g. snowshoeing) at a few degrees below zero (Celsius) I am comfortable with only this shirt on my upper body. I'll get more of these for next winter.
Hi James,
Thanks for another great review! We are happy to hear that this shirt worked out really well for you! We appreciate all your feedback!

Enjoying so far. First merino wool shirt I’ve owned. Will see about durability. Price point seems almost too good to be true but alas the decathlon way.
Hi David! You said it: "it's the Decathlon way"! Our prices do not reflect quality (nor sustainability)- we are just able and willing to make prices (and in turn, sports) accessible to the many! You can read more about the "why" behind our affordability here: https://www.decathlon.com/blogs/inside-decathlon/how-do-we-make-our-prices-so-affordable. Thanks for visiting us and we hope you enjoy many comfortable hikes in your new shirt! 💙

light and warm. But it causes itchy on my skin if I wear it for a long day.
Eady wash and dry. Perfect for all sports.
What can I say but what a great price for a merino wool base layer.
works well in South indian heat and himalayan cold
Even though merino blend is not super fine but as per the price range, its a good product. with good detailing.
All good

I wore the short sleeved merino base layer on a 12 mile back packing walk on the Wold Way. It was a hot day and I was carrying my 33 litre back pack. The base layer wicked moisture away efficiently and I did not feel uncomfortable despite the weight I was carrying.
