TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Is my T-shirt warm enough for winter hikes?

The inside fabric is brushed, a tried-and-tested method for retaining heat. The principle is simple: the knit fabric’s structure adds volume to trap air, which is naturally insulating. This is exactly the same principle as animal fur and feathers.

Sizing and fit

Close-fitting cut. Select your usual size or one size larger if you prefer a looser fitting T-shirt.

How to dress properly for cold-weather hiking

Whatever your cold-weather activity, use the three-layer principle:
Layer 1: A high-tech base layer to wick moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry.
Layer 2: A fleece or sweater to provide warmth and transfer moisture outwards.
Layer 3: A jacket to protect against outdoor conditions: rain, snow, and wind.
To eliminate moisture, the whole outfit must be breathable.

Component test:

Abrasion and friction resistance test: lab tests confirm that fleeces do not pill, for example. Colour fastness test: we check colour fastness to ensure colours don’t bleed. Aging test: repeated washing must not alter the fabric’s original properties, including its shape, thickness, and appearance.

How does my product warranty work?

This product is guaranteed for two years from the date shown on the sales receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear or improper use.
